In order to book vehicles and drivers we need to collect and hold your personal data. City Transport Solutions understands that protecting the confidentiality and integrity of your Personal Data is a critical responsibility and we take it very seriously at all times.
This Privacy Statement sets out how we collect and handle your personal data¸ in a way that adheres to the principles of processing personal data¸ set out in the General Data Protection Regulations (2018)

What we collect
We may collect the following information:
Name, Address¸ Contact Telephone Number¸ Date Of Birth¸ Medical Information and history¸ Bio-metric data¸ National Insurance number¸ Bank details¸ Eligibility to work information¸ Employment history¸ Driving licence number and Passport number¸ professional qualifications and Licences¸ Information on convictions for any motoring offences in the last 5 years¸ Email Address¸ any further information as laid out in our standard Driver Application form that may be required to process an application by you. Demographic information such as job preferences and interests, or other information you have supplied.
What we do with the information we gather
At City Transport Solutions Ltd we use the information provided by our suppliers to place temporary drivers and vehicles with our customers. We collect your personal data on the legal basis that it is required for the purposes of pursuing a legitimate interest. The legitimate interest being placing drivers and vehicles as well as ensuring that all payments can be received and paid on time.
Protecting your personal information
Your Personal Data is stored on our secure database DRIVE and is accessible by employees of City Transport Solutions and the customers with whom drivers / vehicles will be placed. We are also required to share some information with third parties such as the HMRC for tax purposes¸accountants¸auditors¸payroll and pension providers and other professional advisors. We use this data to find suitable work for drivers and place vehicles¸ ensure prompt payment and easily input time sheets.
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost¸ used or accessed in an unauthorised way¸ altered or disclosed. In addition¸ we limit access to your personal data to those employees¸ agents¸ contractors and other third parties who have a business need to know. They will only process your personal data on our instructions and they are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
We will not transfer your Personal Data outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
We have put in place procedures to deal with any suspected personal data breach and will notify you and any applicable regulator of a breach where we are legally required to do so.

Subject Access Request

You have the right to request the rectification of any data you believe we hold for you which is incorrect. Following receipt of such request, we will immediately rectify any errors found.

You can request that we remove your personal data at any time. Following receipt of an erasure request, we will remove your data with a 24-hour period.
Right to request restriction of processing
